Privacy Policy for Greeny

You do not need an account to use Greeny's core features. Greeny does not ask for your name, phone number, or email address to browse transport information.

Your selected city, appearance preferences, recent searches, and saved routes or stops are stored locally on your device. Greeny does not currently synchronize these preferences to a user account.

Greeny requests foreground location permission when you choose a feature that needs it. With your permission, Greeny uses your location to sort nearby stops by distance, display your position on the map, and provide guidance toward a selected stop.

For nearby-stop requests, Greeny sends your current coordinates to the Greeny API to return stops in the requested area. These coordinates are transmitted to provide that feature. Greeny does not intentionally build or retain a movement history and does not use background location tracking.

Location permission is optional. You can browse cities, routes, stops, and schedules without it, and change permission at any time in your device settings.

Requests to the Greeny API may involve technical information such as your IP address, request time, requested endpoint, and diagnostic or security logs. Infrastructure and hosting providers may process this information to deliver, secure, cache, and troubleshoot the service.

If you email the developer for support or a privacy request, the information you send is used to respond to your inquiry.

Greeny uses mapping services and cloud infrastructure to provide maps and transport information. Depending on the platform, Google Maps or Apple Maps may process information in accordance with their own privacy policies.

Greeny shares coordinates with its API when you request nearby stops and relies on hosting and mapping providers to operate the service. Greeny does not sell your personal information. This policy will be updated if advertising or new analytics services are introduced.

Locally saved preferences, searches, and stops remain on your device until you clear applicable app data or uninstall Greeny. No Greeny user account is required, so there is no user account to delete.

Greeny does not intentionally retain a location-history profile. Hosting and security logs may be retained by infrastructure providers according to their operational retention policies. To ask about service data or request deletion of data associated with a support inquiry, contact [email protected]. Some records may need to be kept for security or legal reasons.

You may deny or revoke location access through your device settings. Doing so does not prevent access to Greeny's non-location transport features.

Greeny uses ordinary platform and hosting safeguards to support secure delivery of its services. No internet-based service can guarantee absolute security.

Greeny is a general-audience transport utility and does not knowingly ask children to submit personal information. If you believe a child has shared personal data with the developer, contact [email protected].

Routes, stops, and schedules are based on published transport information and may change. Unless specifically marked as live, schedule times do not represent real-time vehicle positions. Confirm time-sensitive trips with the relevant operator.

We may revise this policy if Greeny's features or data practices change. The last-updated date will be changed when the policy is revised.
